BERTScope FIR Explorer

The BERTScope FIR Explorer is a new software program designed to convert measured frequency responses into tap settings for FIR-based filters. It can be used for pre-emphasis settings and receiver equalization emulation, as is available with BERTScope PatternVu and other instruments.

The software is installed with a library of measured frequency responses for the different trace lengths on the BERTScope ISI test board; it can also import user-supplied responses and optimize for those.
